With Troy Patton debuting from the minors, the Astros are looking to see a pitcher that will throw strikes and be able to settle into a starting pitching role. Biggio knocked a solo homer off of Saul Rivera of the Nationals and they have already topped the Nationals on Opening Day. They are looking to have fantastic hitting and a lot of Biggio balls flying home in Minute Maid this year.
The Astros season is sure to be an exciting one as there are no clear lines between who will be National League contenders this year.
