The New Orleans Saints were founded in 1967 and because of the lack of success, you would often hear them referred to as the “Aints” and you would often see fans in the stadium wearing bags over their head in shame.
In 2006 owner Tom Benson and Rita Benson LeBlanc decided to give the team a facelift in effort to help with Saints football ticket sales. Hurricane Katrina had devastating effects on New Orleans Saints tickets and there were serious rumors about not repairing the Louisiana Superdome and moving the team to San Antonio or another location. The owners decided to higher ex-Dallas Cowboy coach Sean Payton to revamp the team. The owners also knew if they could not get fans to purchase a Saints football ticket then they would jeopardize the future of the organization.

After hiring Coach Sean Payton the owners took advantage of their second round pick in 2005 and selected Reggie Bush. Reggie Bush was a very high prospect out of the University of California and the owners felt confident that he would directly affect the sales of Saints football tickets. They also brought in Drew Breeze from a trade made with the San Diego Chargers and an electric offense was instantly formed. Cheap Saints tickets were no longer easy to find and the stadium sold out for the season within hours of signing Reggie Bush. Until the 2006 season the New Orleans Saints had only won two division championships but they had only won a playoff game once. In 2006 they went all the way to the Conference Championship game loosing to the Chicago Bears who went on to the Super Bowl.

The whole city of New Orleans and the entire United States displayed their strong support by buying out all of the New Orleans Saints tickets and they quickly became a very hot ticket to have. Cheap Saints tickets are now hard to find but if you do find Saints football tickets at a good price then you should buy them immediately. New Orleans Saints tickets are the ticket of the future. The team has high expectations in the 2007 season and don’t be surprised if you see the same potent offense produce the same astonishing rushing and passing yards in 2007 as they did in 2006.
